JDHS Parent/Guardian Communication

Parents make a significant difference in their child's success.  We are grateful for your interest and support.  Working together we hope to help each child achieve their very best.  Below are some resources and ideas to support JDHS parents/guardians.

JDHS SITE COUNCIL meets on the first Monday of the month at 5 pm in the JDHS library.  It is made up of parents, teachers, support staff, students, and community members.  All Site Council  http://jdhs.juneauschools.org/parents-c8377583/site-council-page-8dba00b7 meetings are open to the public.  For more information see: 


THE JUNEAU-DOUGLAS HIGH SCHOOL WEB PAGE is located at http://jdhs.juneauschools.org/.  From there you can link to staff contact info, counseling and career information, calendars and more! 


POWERSCHOOL ACCESS:  You can follow your student's grades and attendance online on Power School at https://ps.juneauschools.org/public/Contact the Counseling Office at 907-523-1516 for PowerSchool access assistance.
PowerSchool is web-based in real time so you see everything that has been entered up to that minute.  Please note that anything in blue is a link.  For instance, if you click on a blue attendance total you will see a breakdown of periods missed and the reason.  If you click on a grade in blue you will see a list of individual assignments and the grades for each one.  You can also look for missing assignments.
