There are numerous ways for a student to earn additional credits towards high school graduation. If you are interested in any of the options below, have a discussion with your counselor.

CARES - CARES offers credit recovery classes. Summer School courses are now being offered through CARES. Please contact Judy McAllister at 907-523-1817 or email judy_mcallister@jsd.k12.ak.us
Correspondence Courses - There are a few schools which JDHS has found to offer classes which assist our students in achieving the required credits for graduation. Please go online to see what these schools have to offer, but before enrolling, please contact your JDHS Counselor to verify that the courses you have chosen will work towards your graduation credits.
